Windom Man's Services Held In Honey Grove

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral chapel in Honey Grove for Eugene Winchester, Route 1, Windom, whose death occurred at 7:15 o'clock Saturday night, Nov. 10, 1973, in a Sherman, Tex., hospital.

Officiating at the services were the Rev. Robert Thompson and the Rev. Raymond Smoot and burial was in the Dodd City cemetery with Masonic services at the graveside. He was a member of the Dodd City Masonic lodge.

Mr. Winchester was born Nov. 5, 1908, in Windom, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Winchester.

He was married March 25, 1936, in Hugo, Okla., to Ida Mae Sadler, who survives him at the home near Windom.

Other survivors are his mother, Mrs. Mary Winchester of Honey Grove; one son, Frank Winchester of Garland, and one daughter, Mrs. Eugenia Ramsey of Wills Point.

Also surviving are two brothers, Leon of Sherman and Lloyd of Bonham; three sisters, Mrs. Lucille Parish of Burkburnett, Mrs. Lois Johnson of San Antonio, and Mrs. Edith Elliott of Longview, and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers were M. L. Brent, John Bomar, Leeman Riddles, Jimmy Doyle, Homer Herriage and Choice Moore.
