William M. Moffitt, 93, died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004 at Snyder Village in Metamora.
Born Oct. 6, 1911, in Ledford to John E. and Elizabeth Lawrence Moffitt, he married Lorene Pyle on Jan. 23, 1932, in Ledford. She preceded him in death.
He also was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Surviving are two sons, William "Max" (and Linda) and Charles (and Nancy); two daughters, A. Geraldine "Gerry" Hughes and Mary (and Aubrey) Ward; three brothers, Fred, Claude, and Edward (and Diane); and two sisters, Julia Strickland and Mark (and Frank) Bowman.
He owned and operated Moffitt Jewelry.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
