Lois Irene Fitzgerald, 102, born to Thomas Samuel and Katherine Melinda (Moon) Mitchell on May 8, 1913 and passed through Heaven's gate on May 26, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, 2 sisters and husband Israel (Ike) after 68 years of marriage. She is survived by her 3 children, Kathy Galliher, Ken and Virginia Fitzgerald, Mike and Barbara Fitzgerald, 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Mom's entire Christian life was centered around family, home, cooking and a special love of flower gardening. She was also the most kind, affectionate, loving and nurturing mother any child could hope to have. Mom was truly an example for what motherhood was intended to be. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Quality Care. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, May 29, 2015, at the funeral home chapel. (Barnes-Frederich)
