A son of the late Arthur Leland and Mattie Burgess Page Ambrose. He was a Coast Gaurd Veteran and retired from the United States Postal Service. Mr. Ambrose was a member of Aynor United Methodist Church. He was predeceased by his wife Pauline Floyd Ambrose; two brothers, Donald Ambrose and Vernon Ambrose; one sister and brother-in-law, Wilma and Jack Sherrill; one sister-in-law, Eula Mae Dawsey Ambrose.
