Denok Fairchilds [sic], seventy-nine, died early last Thursday morning at the home of Louis Joy, at Beloit, after an illness of several months. He was born in Mineral Point, Wis., March 26, 1843, and made his home there and in Rockton up until a few years ago when he moved to Beloit. He was a half brother of Fred Coons, of Beloit, and Miss Ella Coons of this place. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 oclock at the Rosman-Kinzer Undertaking parlors, in Beloit, and were conducted by the Masonic fraternity. Burial was made in Rockton cemetery.
The deceased was a member of the Rockton Masonic lodge for many years, but later demitted to the Beloit lodge.
