Funeral services for Mr. Tommie McDade, 64, were held from the Chapel of Moore's Funeral Home on December 6, 1978. Burial followed in West View Cemetery.

Mr. McDade died on December 4, 1978, in Suwanee, Florida after a brief illness. He was a native of Baldwin County and was in the tire and recapping business for many years.

Survivors include; his wife, Mrs. Julia Alford McDade of Suwannee and Milledgeville; one son, Mr. Ennis Lee McDade of Milledgeville; two daughters, Mrs. Diane McDade Rhodes of Atlanta, and Mrs. Cam Roberson Monroe of Jacksonville, Florida, two brothers; Mr. John B. McDade and Mr. Edward McDade both of Milledgeville. Five grandchildren also survive.

Mr. McDade was a former partner in the McDade and Deason firm in Milledgeville, until his retirment four years ago. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
