The death of Mr. William "Pete" McDade occured Tuesday, Feb.3rd. in a local hospital funeral services were held Feb. 5th. from the Hardwick Christian Church with burial in West View Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bonnie Chance McDade of 1810 Vinson Highway, Milledgeville; six sons, Francis McDade, Jimmy McDade, Harry McDade and Harvey McDade, all of Milledgeville, Roy McDade of Albany, and Johnny McDade of Lyons; three brothers, John B. McDade, Tommie McDade and Edward McDade all of Milledgeville; one sister, Mrs. Mary McDade Stubbs of Milledgeville, sixteen grandchildren also survive.
