B. Louise Idlewine, 74, of Greensburg, passed away at 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus. She was born on August 14, 1940 in Edinburgh, the daughter of Andrew and Elsie (Green) Blanton. She had lived most of her life in Decatur County and graduated from Columbus High School in 1958. She had retired in 2002 from Print Pack after 36 years of service. She was a member of the Westport United Methodist Church, Eagles Lodge Auxiliary # 927 in Greensburg, Shelbyville American Legion Post Auxiliary, Moose Lodge # 2203 of Columbus, Heartland Cloggers, Family Campers and RV’ers, Hoosier Hillbillie’s Chapter 27, Good Sam’s Club and NCHA – National Campers & Hikers Association. She also was an honorary Kentucky Colonel. She enjoyed traveling, camping, music, dancing, playing cards and Bingo.

She was known as Nanan to several special individuals. She married Francis Dale Idlewine in Westport on March 13, 1965 and he survives. Other survivors include her son, Eddie Garrison of Greensburg; her daughters, Debbie (George) Zimmerman of Elizabethtown, Cathy (Dave) Summa of Coopersville, Michigan and Melissa (Tom) Agnello of Rushville; her sisters, Barbara Pokorzynski of Indianapolis, Elsie (Harold) Goins of Bluefield, West Virginia, Shirley Proctor of North Vernon, Dianna Blanton and Myrtle Pittman both of Greensburg; her brothers, Rodger (Ann) Blanton of North Vernon, Kenneth (Carolyn) Blanton and Clarence Edward (Jennifer) Blanton both of Greensburg; her 10 grandchildren and her 23 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sons, Dale and Jeff Idlewine; her sister, Lillian Cook; her brothers, Louis Junior, Stanley, Charlie Clay and Bill Blanton and her half-sister, Betty Jo Claxton.

The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Rev. Harold Goins officiating. Burial will follow at the Westport Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
