Donald M. Booton
Services for Donald M. Booton of 3312 Mary Lynn Drive will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Union Park Methodist Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be in Canfield Cemetery. Mr. Booton, 79, died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
Born in Perry, he lived in Des Moines for 48 years, coming from Audubon, and Wisconsin. He retired as chemist for the state department of agriculture and was a member of the American Chemical Society.
Surviving are his wife, Vera; a daughter, Jeannine; a stepdaughter, Jane Ann Wash; two sons, Alan and Lee; a sister Josephine Knudson of Ames; a brother, Glenn of Glen Head, N.Y., nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
