She was born September 7, 1924, in Spring Township, Centre County, a daughter of the late Weaver A. and Helen R. Whitehill Witmer.
On November 22, 1943, she married Ray A. Frank who preceded her in death October 27, 1972.
Earlier in life she was employed at the former Holiday Inn in State College, then going to work for C-Cor Electronics in July of 1967, where she worked until her retirement. She especially enjoyed working in her flower beds, driving through the mountains, and loved her dogs.
Mrs. Frank was a member of the Women of the Moose, Chapter 151 in Bellefonte, the Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 33 of Bellefonte, and the Auxiliary of V. F. W. Post 1600 in Bellefonte.
Surviving her are two sons Barry R. Frank and his wife Dorothy of Medina, OH and Robert E. Frank of rural Julian; and two grandchildren, Curtis Ray Frank and Katie A. Frank
Friends will be received from 6 – 8 p. m. Friday, May 11, 2012 at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA. A private committal service was held earlier at the convenience of the family, at Centre County Memorial Park.
