Beatrice J. Dougherty

DUBOIS - Beatrice J. Dougherty, 91, formerly of Clearfield and most recently of DuBois RD, died Tuesday, April 4, 2000, at the home of her daughter.

Born Feb. 15, 1909, in Spring Valley, she was a daughter of Benjamin and Flora (Wisor) Parks.

Mrs. Dougherty was a homemaker and was affiliated with the Catholic faith.

She is survived by a daughter, Irene Peters' and her husband, Frank Komonczi, of DuBois RD; four grandchildren, Louise Mahlon, Darlene Langworthy, Venna Pygon and Dencil Peters; 10 great-grandchildren; 10 greatgreat- grandchildren.

Also surviving is are brother and three sisters, Clair Parks of 011 City, Mrs. Nat (Mary) Stieb of California, Mrs. Lee (Erma) Confer of West Milton and Verna Fundanish of Philipsburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Sheridan Dougherty; two brothers, Merlin and Lloyd Parks; and a sister, Grace Potts.

Services will be held at 10 a.m Friday at The Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Clearfield, with Rev. James C. McKee officiating.

Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home
