Early Life: He was born July 6, 1933, to Aaron LeVon York and Gladys Finch York. He joined the United States Army from 1955 to 1957 and was stationed in Germany.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: On June 19, 1953, he married his sweetheart, Norma Ingram; they were sealed in the Provo Utah Temple June 19, 2012. He had a great love for the outdoors. He enjoyed trapping, hunting, camping and running bear and mountain lions with his hound dogs. Doug was a great storyteller. He also shoed horses and loved bowling. Douglas LeVon York, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away into the arms of his Heavenly Father on February 5, 2015, from bone cancer in Payson, Utah. He was 81.
Survived By: His wife, three sons, 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
