Graveside service for Alcy C. Barbee, 67, of Lubbock, will be 10:30 AM, Monday,March 28, 2005 in Englewood Cemetery with the Rev. Lewis Wilkins officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service in Slaton.
Mrs. Barbee died Thursday, March 24, 2005.
She was born January 20, 1938 in Slaton, Texas and graduated from Slaton High School. She received her LVN from San Angelo School of Nursing, and worked as a skilled nurse in Nursing Homes in the area. She retired in 1994. She married James A. Barbee on May 31, 1965 in Brownfield, TX and lived in Slaton, Smyer and moved to Lubbock in 1992.
She is survived by her husband of the home, two daughters; Christy of Lubbock, Cindy and husband Garry Burton of Lubbock; one sister, Myrtle Gartman of Magazine, Ark.; three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
