OBITUARY – DANA ELIZABETH MAYO CASE
25 APR 1924 – 2 DEC 2014

Dana Mayo Case age 90 of Surgoinsville, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2014.

She was a charter member of Bass Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and a retiree of Kingsport Press.

She was preceded in death by her husband, C.W. Case; parents: James and Ida Sandridge Mayo; brothers: Chad, Hugh, Russell, and Robert Mayo; sisters: Grace Mauk, Ethel Rutledge, Mary Gatewood, Eleanor Cox and Ardis Simmons and special nephew: Bob Gatewood.

Dana leaves her extended family member and caregivers: Paul Byington, Jr. and wife Teresa, Reba Jean Byington and the late Paul Byington, Sr. and several nieces and nephews. A special thank you goes to her niece: Anna Blanch “Sis” Bailey, Emeritus Assisted Living, Morristown Life Care Center, the Rogersville Senior Citizens Center, where she was very active and to those who would take her to church, out to eat or for her daily rides.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, December 5, 2014 from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM at Colboch-Price Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 12:30 PM with Pastor David Rossetti and Robin Ketron officiating. Interment will follow in Hawkins County Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers or food, the family requests that donations be made to Bass Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 611 Zion Hill Road, Surgoinsville, TN 37873.
