Thomas Deaver died very suddenly at his home near Ronceverte, Tuesday morning of heart failure. He was 64 years of age and had been in bad health for about a year with dropsy. He got up Tuesday morning, ate breakfast and said he felt as well as usual. He walked out on the porch and fell. By the time assistance came he was dead. Mr Deaver was a member of the Presbyterian church. The funeral was conducted yesterday at 11 o'clock, by Rev Harrop, of Ronceverte, after which burial took place in the Anderson cemetery. He is survived by a wife and nine children, and is a brother of R A and C J Deaver of this city.
