Samuel King, aged forty-nine years, died suddenly at his home on Second street this morning about 9 o'clock. He came up town to the office of Dr. J.W. Arnold this morning and complained of not feeling very well. Dr. Arnold was out at the time, so King walked back home and sat down to rest. He got out of the chair and started across the room, when he sank to the floor and died almost instantly. Heart failure was the cause of his death.

Mr. King conducted a livery stable on south Washington street until a few months ago, when he sold the place to James L. Henry. Since that time he had been working at the Reeves & Co. factory. The announcement of the funeral will be made later.

(No additional mention found in next several days' papers.)
