She was a homemaker and was a member of Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. She was a member of Brandon's Women's Club and Brandon Lions Club Auxiliary and was active in Brandon school PTA. She was a founding member of Nativity Catholic Church, Brandon, and served as the church's organist for many years. Survivors include two sons, Amos S . ""Corky,'' San Antonio, Texas, and Richard H. ""Butch,'' Frankfort, Ill.; two daughters, Ruth Ann Troyer, Tampa, and Bonnie Jean Schaffer, Oak Forest, Ill.; a brother, James W. Hodges, Sun City Center; two sisters, Dorothy Barber and Charlotte Ralle, both of Tampa; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Stowers Funeral Home, Brandon.
