She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Johnnie Lee Kincaid. Survivors included her husband Carl; son Hershell Smith and his wife Diana; and two grandsons, Brian and Steven Smith.
Funeral services were held at the Blue Ridge Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. William Pouncey officiating. Entombment was in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum of Faith, Prosperity, W.Va.
Arrangements were by the Blue Ridge Funeral Home.
