OBITUARY :
CLYDE CRILLEY, SR., 70, of Waynesboro R.D. 5, died at 6:40 a.m. today at his home. He had been in failing health foR the past two years and became critically ill early this morning.

Mr. Crilley was born in Waynesboro, March 26, 1899, son of the late Lorenzo and Catherine Cordell Crilly. His early life was lived in Waynesboro and for the past 50 years Mr. Crilley had lived at Waynesboro R.D. 5.

During most of his active life, Mr. Crilley was employed as a molder by the Wood-Embly Brass Foundry, and prior to his retirement in 1956, he last worked at Magnus Metals.

His wife, Mrs. Helen E. Wade Crilley, died in June, 1958.

He was a member of the Calvary Chapel Episcopal Church.

Mr. Crilley was also a social member of the VFW.

He is survived by these children, Mrs. Boyd Burgan, Waynesboro, Mrs. Kenneth Stitely and Mrs. Leon Eyler, both of Thurmont; Clyde Crilley, Jr., Waynesboro R.D. 3, Mrs. Gerald Creager, Waynesboro R.D. 5, Mrs. Charles Perry, Biloxi, Miss. and William R. Crilley, Waynesboro R.D. 2. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Mary Harbaugh, Waynesboro.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Calvary Chapel Episcopal Church in charge of the Rev. J. Boyd Davis. Burial will be made in the adjoining church cemetery.

Friends may call at the Grove Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
