EMMERT R. CRILLEY, 63, died suddenly at 11:55 a.m. Saturday at his home at 303 W. North St.
Mr. Crilley was confined to the Samuel G. Dixon State Hospital for several periods from 1929 to 1958. His last stay at the hospital was from May 1957 to March in 1958.
Illness had prevented his working since 1953. Cause of death was coronary occulsion.
He was born in Waynesboro, the son of Lorenzo and Catherine (Cordell) Crilley. All of his life he lived in Waynesboro except two years he had lived in Roanoke, Va. Mr. Crilley learned the machinist trade at Landis Machine Co. and had also been employed at the Landis Tool Co., and was last employed at Fairchild for 17 years.
He was a member of the First EUB Church and is survived by his wife, Annie (Bumbaugh) Crilley, and one daughter, Arietta V. Crilley, at home. He is also survived bt three brothers and one sister, Dennis Crilley, Clarence Crilley, Clyde Crilley, and Mrs. Robert Harbaugh, all of Waynesboro R.D. 4.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Grove Funeral Home conducted by. Dr. Paul O. Shettel and the Rev. J. W. Yohe. Burial will be made in Green Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call this evening from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
