Kermit Smith was a fine carpenter. He made many items of furniture in his home and you could not buy anything of finer quality and workmanship.
He was a dedicated family man and was one of those rare fathers who were there for their children-good or bad.
He had a green thumb (possibly handed down from his mother, Ella) and his garden was the envy of many.
He worked at Western Electric until his retirement. He was a kind and caring man and much loved by his family
