Michael Sills, 66, of South Whitley, IN, passed away at 7:53 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, IN.
Mr. Sills was born on February 29, 1948, in Huntington, IN, to Clyde A. and Juanita Isabelle (Grush) Sills. His parents preceded him in death.
Mr. Sills drove a transportation van for the Amish.
Mr. Sills is survived by two daughters, Billie Sue (Todd) James, Huntington, IN, Michelle Sills, Huntington, IN; two brothers, Steve (Marlene) Sills, Jim (Shirley) Sills, both of Huntington, IN; five sisters, Juanita Crouch, Huntington, IN, Doris (Mike) Wininger, Huntington, IN, Vicky (Terry) Wininger, Mt. Etna, IN, Melody Benfer, Huntington, IN, and Shanna Schlicter, Ossian, IN. Mr. Sills is also survived by three grandchildren, Brandon Decker, Kyler Decker, Tonisha James; and four great grandchildren.
Along with his parents Mr. Sills was preceded in death by a grandson, Levi A. James; three brothers, Ed Sills, Bill Sills, Dusty Sills; and one sister, Hope Al Khzaee.
Calling hours will be on Friday, May 16, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
Private services and burial will be at a later date.
Burial will be at Star of Hope Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
