Elias Bramel, an old and honored citizen of Christian county, living five miles south of Niantic, died Sunday, of senility, being nearly 92 years old. He leaves six sons and three daughters. They are C.C. Bramel of Niantic, Benjamin, Oscar, Robert, Thomas, and A.J. Bramel, all of Christian county, Mrs. Lucinda Whaley of Triplett, Mo., Mrs. Sarah Whitesides of Decatur, Mrs. Ivy Travis, at home with her father.
The funeral took place Tuesday morning from Berea church. Burial was in Berea cemetery.
