LaNell Adams, 76, passed away Monday, April 14, 2014. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Friday in Greenwood Memorial Park. LaNell was born May 23, 1937, in Rising Star. She was a woman who lived a exemplary life. She was a devoted pastor's wife, mother and grandmother. LaNell was the same, day in and day out, and truly carried a song in her heart. She loved to work in her flower gardens and being outdoors. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, the Rev. William Thomas "Tommy" Adams; a baby daughter; and daughter, Jeri Oxner. Survivors: Sons, Wesley Adams and Dan Adams and wife, Corina; and grandchildren, Colton, Shelbe, Weston, Angel, Sebastian, Lauren and William Bailey.
