BELMONT — Ralph V. Miller, 85, died Dec. 24, 2005 at Gaston Memorial Hospital in Gastonia.
He was a native of Caldwell County, son of the late Raymond Augustus Miller and Glennie Drum Miller.
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Wednesday, First Baptist Church, Belmont
INTERMENT: Greenwood Cemetery
VISITATION: 6:30-8:30 tonight, McLean Funeral Directors, Belmont
Mr. Miller retired from Duke Power with over 40 years of service. He was a World War II Army veteran, member of the First Baptist Church of Belmont, life member of the Shrine and a member of Masonic Lodge #2 in Charleston, S.C.
SURVIVORS: Sons and daughters-in-law, Danny T. and JoAnne Miller of Charlotte, N.C., David S. and Sharon Miller of Belmont, N.C.; grandchildren and spouses, Stephanie and Deems Southard of Belmont, N.C., Steven and Aubrey Miller of Gastonia, N.C., Madison Miller of Charlotte, N.C.; great grandson, Henry Southard; sister, Rachel Kincaid of Conover, N.C.; niece, Hilda Huffstickler and numerous other nieces and nephews.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: Wife, Bernice Rebecca Jordan Miller; brother, Kary Miller; sisters, Mary Frances Brown and Nadine Starnes
