Mrs. Lovine Basler, 91, a resident of Topeka 45 years, died Wednesday morning at the home of her son, M.E. Basler, in Lecompton. She had made her residence there the past year. She was born in Medina county, O., Sept. 2, 1842. Surviving her are her son; a daughter, Mrs. Stella Peck, Topeka; a brother, M.C. Bowman, Elkhart, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at Penwell's chapel Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery.
