Mr. Theodore Hilgard, 79 years old, of 624 Park avenue, died at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. Until his final illness he had been an agent for the Prudential Live insurance Company. For many years he was a conductor on the local street car lines.
Mr. Hilgard was born in St. Clair county December 20, 1842, and was married December 10, 1871, to Mina Heimberger.
He leaves his wife and two daughters:
Helene [Helena], at home
[Bertha] Mrs. Louis J. Winkler of Monroe, La.
... also two grandchildren
The funeral will take place at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday from the home to Walnut Hill Cemetery.
