MRS. MARY V. HARBAUGH, 77, of 213-D Elder Ave., widow of Robert B. Harbaugh, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Waynesboro Hospital at 6:15p.m. Tuesday, July 10. She had been in failing health for the past two years. Her death was attributed to a heart attack.
Born near Blue Ridge Summit, Oct. 10, 1906, she was the daughter of the late Lorenzo and Kathryn (Cordell) Crilley. All of her life was lived in the Waynesboro area and prior to moving to the present residence in 1969, she had made her home in Rouzerville for 36 years.
As a young woman she had worked at the Waynesboro Knitting Mill for several years.
Her husband died in November, 1964.
She was a member of the Rouzerville Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are three children of her first marriage to the late Mark H. Recard who died in December, 1941, Mrs. Pearl Bowers, Hagerstown, Glenn Recard, Waynesboro, and Mrs. Irene Minnick, Fayetteville R.D. 2. Also surviving are four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family.
Services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. in the Grove Funeral Home with the Rev. David L. Keener officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
