Walter J. Ebright, formerly a resident at the YMCA, died in the Veteran's Administration Hospital Saturday. He was 73. Born in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Edward C. and Ida W. Rothmund Ebright. A veteran of World War 1, he served with Company E, 304th Engineers, 79th Division. A retired Hershey Chocolate Corporation employee, he was a member of Seventh Street Lutheran Church. He was also affiliated with Mt. Olivet Lodge 704, F and AM, and was a 32nd degree Mason member of the Valley of Reading Consistory. He is survived by a brother, Ernest G. Ebright, Lebanon, two nephews, Waller S. and Gordon J. Ebright, both of Lebanon and a niece, Mrs. Fred Billings, Lunenburg, Mass. [Lebanon Daily News, December 11, 1967, Page 2]
