O.K. Kennedy was born May 19th, 1877 in Barton County, Missouri and died at Lancaster, California, September 25, 1950 at the age of 73 years, 4 months and 6 days. He was married to Edna Elizabeth Morrel November 26, 1896 at Cherokee, Oklahoma. To this union five children were born. One of these William Kennedy, preceded his father in death. Survivors are his wife and three sons, Oscar of Crawford, Oklahoma; Logan and Gratton both of Lancaster, California and one daughter, Lucille Rouff of Bishop, California. He resided in Roger Mills County from 1905 until 1940 when he moved to California. Two former Roger Mills County men, Clyde Ridgeway and Jim Bull were among the pall bearers.
