William "Bill" Hagerty, 67, Green Bay, died Saturday, January 4, 2014, at home. Born in Green Bay, July 21, 1946, he is the son of the late William and Margaret (Fox) Hagerty.

Bill married the former Linda Van Lanen on April 19th, 1969, after which he immediately reported to Fort Sill where he served faithfully in the United States Army as First Lieutenant in Artillery. He married the former Rhona Swart on October 15, 2004, and she preceded him in death on September 18, 2007. Bill worked as an engineer at Auer Steel in Neenah for many years. He had a great sense humor. Bill loved going up to the cabin, fishing, hunting, and times spent with his family and friends at their numerous get-togethers.

He is survived by two daughters, Melanie Hagerty and Erin Hagerty; granddaughter, Aspen Hagerty; brother, Charles Hagerty all of Green Bay; sister-in-law, Joan Hagerty; many other relatives and friends.Bill was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter, Bridget; siblings, Michael and Frederick Hagerty, and Kathy Swanstrom.

Entombment of Bill's ashes will take place at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
