OLMITZ - Julia T. Stos, 85, died Wednesday
at Central Kansas Medical Center, Great
Bend, after a long illness.

Born Julia Axman Feb. 14, 1896, at Olmitz,
she was married to Joseph Stos Oct. 20,
1914, at Olmitz. He died Aug. 5, 1967.

She was a lifetime resident of the Otis-
Olmitz area.

She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church
and Altar Society, both of Olmitz.

Survivors: sons, Joseph V., Leonard, Leo,
Bernard, all of Otis; daughter, Mary
Schiller, Claflin; brother, Max Axman,
Olmitz; sisters, Celestine Axman, Olmitz;
Sister Florine, Sister Claudine, both, of
Wichita; 26 grandchildren; 23 great-
grandchildren; 14 step-great-grandchildren;
nine step great-great-grandchildren .

Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday followed
by Altar Society rosary at Nicholson-Ricke
Funeral Home, Hoisington. Funeral will be at
10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church; Father
Ultan P. Murphy. Burial at the church cemetery
