COFER, TONY GLEN, age 54, of Quinton, AL, went home to be with Jesus on October 24, 2005. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam. In his younger days, Mr. Cofer was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a loving husband and grandfather and was of the Baptist faith. Graveside Services will be held at Crestview Memorial Gardens on October 27, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Mr. Cofer will lie in state from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Crestview Memorial Funeral Home prior to the service. Bro. Chuck Shaver officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 26, from 5:30 until 8:00 p.m. Survivors: his wife, Patricia Henley Cofer; his sons, John Matthew (Brenda Wingard) Cofer and Jason Glen (Shelly Watts) Cofer; his grandchildren, Hunter, Houston, and Riley Cofer; his father, Kenneth William Cofer; his brother, Kenneth Randall (JoAnne) Cofer; his sisters, Nancy (Johnny) Ratliff and Diane Cofer; and his special pet Chi Chi Cofer.
