Calvin Cassler, a former resident of Burdick, who moved to Kouts about three years ago, died at his home in the latter place Monday. The cause of his death was brain fever. The funeral was held from the house and the burial took place in the Jackson Center cemetery. He leaves a wife, four sons and one daughter to mourn his loss.
