Frank B. Hinds Passes Away at Winslow

Son of Andrew Hinds, one time Stephenson County Judge.

Winslow, Ill, June 20 -- Frank B. Hinds, a prominent resident of Winslow, and son of a former county judge of Stephenson county, passed away suddenly at his home here late yesterday afternoon. Mr. Hinds had been ill only a few days suffering a heart attack and the news of his passing came as a distinct shock to the many friends of the family throughout Stephenson County. A daughter, Miss Kitty Hinds, passed away just two weeks ago. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Margaret Hinds, and one son, William Hinds, who resides at Ft. Dodge, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held from the M.E. church in Winslow at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. Rev. Mr. Moore will conduct the services and interment will be made at Winslow. The funeral will be in charge of the Masonic fraternity of which he was a member.

Frank B. Hinds was a native of Freeport having been born there in 1856. He was a son of the late Andrew Hinds, a former county judge of Stephenson county. He was married on July 25, 1880 to Miss Margaret Lloyd. Three children have preceded him in death. He moved to Winslow township a number of years ago and engaged in farming having retired from active labor some years later.
