GRAMPIAN — Services will be held Friday, Sept. 19, at 2 p.m. at the Russell H. Lininger Funeral Home, Curwensville, for Walter I. Addleman, 80, of Grampian R. D. He died at 8:55 a.m. yesterday, Sept. 16.
He was born in Lumber City, March 21, 1895, a son of Harry and Emily (Hipps) Addleman. He was a farmer and attended the United Methodist Church in Grampian.
He is survived by the following children: Howard O. of Fort Myers, Fla.; and W. Orvis and Mrs. John (Frances) Duriworth, both of Grampian R. D. Nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive, as does a sister, Mrs. Alice Spencer of Curwensville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Ethel Pentz, his parents, one brother, one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.
The Rev. Charles Lee will officiate at the services, and interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 p.m. Thursday, until time of services Friday.
