Hubert Lee Smith, 71, 3816 Hay, died at 2:00 a.m. Sunday in a local hospital.
Funeral services at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Connally Compton Chapel, Rev. Don Vardeman officiating, burial in Waco Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Smith was a lifetime resident of Waco and a retired electrician with Owens-Illinois Glass Plant.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mildred Smith; two daughters, Mrs. Billie Humphus of Baylor Camp Road and Mrs. Wanda Tunmire of 3904 Mira; two sisters, Mrs. May Pearl Meier of 4013 Speight and Mrs. Syble O'Bryant of 3808 Speight; five brothers, Ed Smith, 3209 North Twenty-third, Jack Smith, 3218 Homan, J.C. Smith, 4605 Beverly Dr., Roy Smith, 725 Dickens, Curtis Smith, 1417 Holly Vista; three grandsons, Earl Tunmire Jr., Larry Tunmire, and Darren Tunmire , all of Waco; two great-granddaughters, Tina Tunmire and Stacey Tunmire.
The family will be at their residence on Baylor Camp Road.
