Always been interested in genealogy since my parents split when I was 2. Never knew much on my dads side because of it. Really got interested after the birth of my two kids though. It has helped me get back in contact with my dad family. The Jahn's came from somewhere in Prussia and ended up in Oquawka, Il. Later then moved to Keokuk County, Iowa, then Osceola County, Iowa and last Minnesota.
