Funeral services for H. Glen (Cappy) Stout, 73, were held at the Sheets and Son funeral home January 16 with the Rev. Dale Marshall officiating. Burial was in Woodbrdge cemetery at Buchanan.
Pallbearers were Robert Beuter, Curt Chapman, Wilmar Williams, Virtus Reiling, Carl Bair and Norwin Martens. Wayne Hodgden and Wayne Chapman were honorary pallbearers. Mrs. Douglas Emrich was vocalist and Mrs. Ken Gould was organist.
Mr. Stout died at his home near Tipton January 13 following a brief illness.
The son of Jacob and Jane Wagaman Stout, he was born near Buchanan, April 27, 1904 and was educated in the rural schools at Buchanan. He was married to Annie L. Stepanek at Middleton, January 15, 1932.
They farmed in the Buchanan-Cedar Bluff-Tipton area.
He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Irene) Dettman, and a son, Richard L. both of Tipton; 6 grandchildren and a brother, Ralph, Tipton. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
