Funeral services for Ethel Stout Feb. 27
Last rites for Ethel Mae Stout, 69, were held Feb. 27 at the Sheets and Son funeral home in Tipton with the Rev. E. H. Lauer in charge. Pallbearers were Gale Maurer, Arnold Swan, Chalmer Keller, Vernon Wagner, Everett Miller, and Paul Kellerhals.
Mrs. Irma Crawford organist and Mrs. Gale Maurer and Mrs. Arnold Swan were in charge of the flowers. Burial was in Woodbridge cemetery in Buchanan.
Miss Stout died unexpected at her farm home near Buchanan Feb. 25.
The daughter of Jacob and Della Jane Wagaman Stout, she was born in Cass township Feb. 20, 1896 and attended the Cass No. 5 rural school. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Tipton. She spent her lifetime on the Stout family homestead near Buchanan.
She is survived by 3 brothers, Ralph, Fred and Glen all of Tipton; a sister, Sarah Tipton and several nieces and nephews.
