Mrs. Hal Shoemaker was the organist. Mrs. Ralph Gregg, Jr., sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "Beyond the Sunset." Burial was in Grace Hill cemetery under the direction of the Barnard-Dow Funeral home.
Casket bearers were Lee Keehn, R.C. Miller, Guy Venard, Harley Whittington, Fred Dawson and Guy Hodgson.
The former Effie McAninch, Mrs. Bader was born July 11, 1871, at Nashville, Iowa. She married Perry Bader October 12, 1893, at Le Mars.
They moved to Hawarden in 1900. Mr. Bader died in 1923.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Dave Engebritson of Hawarden and Mrs. Kirby Hancock of Elizabeth, Ill.; a son, Lee, of Iowa City, and six grandchildren.
