Mrs. Rogers was born in Ballinger. She graduated from Killeen High School. She was a member of Eastern Star, the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 223 and Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 3892. She had lived in the community for 65 years and was a member of First Baptist Church in Killeen.
Survivors are her husband, Kenneth Rogers of Killeen; a son, Brad Rogers of Killeen; a daughter, Beverly Moss of Killeen; her mother, Elva Baker of Copperas Cove; two brothers, Elijah Baker Jr. of Killeen and Charles Baker of Troy, Mont.; a sister, Virginia Pool of Tyler; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
