Danny "Dano" Williams died Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center after complications of a fall. Danny was born March 30, 1955 to Raymond "Curly" Williams and Lorene (Alleman) Williams in Des Moines. He graduated from SE Polk High School then attended Grandview College. His favorite job was bartending at the Walnut Tap where he met many life long friends. He worked at Manatts then Maurice's Distribution Center and Caseys until his health forced him to retire in 2009.

Danny is survived by his wife and best friend of 20 years, Mary Jo; his mother; his children, Zachary Williams, Nichole Williams, Jeremy (Sarah) Cornett, and Jenifer (Eric) Abbey all of the Des Moines area and Jason Cornett of Griffith, IN. He also leaves the grandchildren he loved and enjoyed more than anything in the world, Terrayn Jackson, Giana Gomez, Casey, Noah, Samantha Cornett, Allie Ryan, Elizabeth and Annika Abbey, Trafton Gear, Christian Cornett; sister, Connie (Terry) Daiker of Mitchellville; many nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends as well as his constant companions, his dogs, Tinybit and Buddy. He was preceded in death by his father; his brother, Gary; and his loyal companion, Honey.
