Departed this life, on the 14th day of October 1861 at his residence in Bucyrus, Mr Daniel Sheaffer, aged 69 years 9 months and 12 days. The deceased was born in Dauphin County, PA, on the 21 day of January, A.D. 1793. He emigrated from the east and settled in Crawford, Co, about 25 years ago, where he remained until his death. His last illness was Typhoid fever. His mortal remains sleep quietly in the grave, while the living look confidently for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come, through our Lord Jesus Christ.
