Peter Johan Swanson, 89, died Saturday at his home in Bovill, where he had lived since retiring from farming. Born in Sweden, he came to this country in 1896.
Survivors include two sons, Harman of Bovill and Elmer in Moscow; four daughters, Mrs. R. Allen and Mrs. J. B. Calen, both of Troy, Idaho; Mrs. O.L. Gentry, Washington, D.C.; and Mrs. A. Malstrong, Wenatchee, Wash.; and a brother, August of Spokane.
Services were held today at Westdala Lutheran Church in Troy with interment in Dry Creek Cemetery.
