ANSONVILLE - Charles A. Stevens, merchant, died at his home in Ansonville Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
The deceased was born in Port Matilda, a son of Henry and Susan (Beck) Stevens. He was a member of the Zion Baptist Church of Ansonville.
Survivors include his widow, Bessie (Mays) Stevens, and the following five children: Herman K., Purchase Line, Pa.; J. Gordon and Miss Helen M., both at home; Mrs. Ruth A. Buzzard, St. Marys, and Mrs. Lily Belle Cronauer of Hastings.
He also leaved four grandchildren and a brother, Abednigo, of Marietta, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held from his home tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. His pastor, Rev. Amos E. Harnish, will officiate and burial will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park at Hyde.
The body will be at his home where friends may call until time of the service tomorrow.
