She was a school teacher in several of the district schools of this area until her marriage, Oct 4, 1900, when she came to Stillwater. Mrs. Deyoe and her husband operated the grocery store on Hudson Ave which was formerly operated by Mr. Deyoe's father, Chauncey A. Deyoe.
She was a charter member of the Village Improvement Society. Survivors are several nieces and nephews, Mrs. E. Owen Hodder, Greenwich; Mrs. Albert R. Hillman, Glens Falls; Mrs. Olin Brownell, Easton; Mrs. Henry Crosby, Dryden; Dwelle Hoag, Honolulu, Hawaii; and Meredith W. Hoag, Greenwich.
Funeral services will be held today at 2 pm at the Dunn Funeral Home, Hudson Ave, Stillwater. Rev. Joseph Stanley, pastor of the Stillwater United Church, will officiate. Interment will be in the Stillwater Union Cemetery."
