Storey Funeral At Mulvane Sunday
Funeral services for Mr. and Mrs. Henry Storey of Udall will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Mulvane Methodist Church. Burial will be in Littleton Cemetery with the Hooten Mortuary in charge.
Mr. and Mrs. Storey both were killed in the tornado. Mr. Storey's body was found in a field south of the Storey place, and the children of the couple found their mother's body at the Morris Funeral home.
The couple had lived in Udall for years. They moved into Udall around eight years ago, but Mr. Storey still had farmed his place. Mrs. Storey had been Udall correspondent for the Winfield Courier for many years.
Surviving are the following children: George Storey of Winfield; Mrs. Karerine Martin of Bishop, Texas; Kenneth Storey of McAllister, Texas; Francis Storey of Udall; Carl Storey of Mulvane and Mrs. Pauline Minson of Mulvane. Mr. Storey was 68, and Mrs. Storey would have been 63 in July.
