Obituary:
Mrs. Eliza V. Zeek, 86, a resident of Des Moines 64 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George E. Ward, 2636 Des Moines St., Saturday after an illness of four months. She was a member of the Simpson Methodist church and of the Women's Relief corps. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ward and Mrs. A.L. Armstrong of Eaton, Ohio; a son, J.H. Zeek, 2623 Logan St.; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Services will be held at Dunn's Funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Monday with the Rev. E.L. Spiller, pastor of Simpson Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in Woodland.
