Born in Ellsworth, Maine, Dresser came to Oklahoma City in 1921. He retired in 1958 after 41 years with APCO. He was a member of Twin Hills Golf & Country Club, Revellers Club and Variety Club. He served in World War I and was a member of the American Legion. He was also a member of the Petroleum Club.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy, of the home; two sons, Charles H. Jr, Houston; and Grey A. 3733 NW 59 Terr., and two sisters, Mrs Eric Chase, Auburn, Maine; and Sarah Woodward, of Ellsworth.
The family prefers that friends wishing to make memorial contributions do so with donations to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
